About PieceStamp

Physical art, presented clearly online.

PieceStamp helps artists present their work beautifully, share the story behind it, create labels and certificates, and keep everything together in a connected artwork archive.

It started with my mother's artist website

While working on the website of my mother, artist Astrid Stoffels, I noticed something that many artists probably recognize.

She wanted to present her work more professionally online. Not just with a beautiful website, but with a clear place for her artworks, stories, sold works, certificates, exhibitions and updates. The problem was not a lack of ideas. It was knowing where to start without ending up in complicated software.

That question became the start of PieceStamp: one connected system around each artwork, first proven in Astrid’s practice and now shaped for artists working with physical artworks.

The person behind PieceStamp

I’m Tim Johan, the founder and developer of PieceStamp. Since 2021 I have worked on digital products and websites, with a focus on clear interfaces and practical tools.

With PieceStamp I want to combine software development with more creative freedom. The goal is not to build complicated software full of technical language. The goal is to create calm, clear tools that fit the way artists want to present their work.

Technology should not get in the way of the artwork. It should help the work, story, certificate and archive stay clear wherever the artwork is shown or sold.

What PieceStamp stands for

Clear first

Artists should be able to present and document their work clearly without learning complicated software.

The physical work stays central

PieceStamp does not replace the artwork. It keeps the story, label, certificate and archive connected around it.

Careful trust

Certificates can feel official and premium without overstating what a certificate can do.

Built from real practice

PieceStamp was shaped around Astrid’s real artwork archive, not around an abstract software idea.
